The Indian Police Dilemma

On the one hand Indians are used to blaming the police for all crimes, but on the other hand, merciless killing of policemen in Gadhchiroli in maharashtra by Naxal terrorists and the beheading of the policeman Mr induwar shows another aspect of the whole situation.
The injured policemen could not be taken to a hospital because the state government would not provide helicopters. Many policemen bled to death as a result. Any country that is not outraged by this has no right to call itself civilised. How can we expect the protectors of law to fight the terrorists in this region if they're not sure about their own life?
How can the government refuse immediate help to injured policemen? the reinforcements took almost a day to reach that place. In this situation, cops are always unwilling to go to naxalite infested areas. They're forced to go there and sacrifice their lives, leaving their young families in the lurch.
We have to evolve a system of immediate medical assistance to injured policemen, to provide reinforcements and use the army if needed before we can expect the naxal terrorists to be eliminated.
My heart bleeds for the families of these brave heroes. I salute them.
